By using this website or placing an order you accept these terms. We may update them, and the version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to your order. Your artwork and your commercial details are never sold or shared; the one exception is that we may photograph finished work for our portfolio, and you can tell us in writing not to.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing ecopackagingmasters.com you agree to these terms and conditions. We manufacture custom packaging — folding cartons, rigid boxes, corrugated mailers, kraft packaging, mylar bags and speciality builds — printed to your own dimensions rather than from a stock catalogue.
We may revise these terms at any time. Revisions take effect when they are published on this page, and the version in force when you approve your proof governs that order.
Registration & Accounts
You do not need an account to request a quote. Where an account is created, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything done through your account.
Give us accurate details. Quotes, proofs and delivery notices are sent to the address on the order, and we cannot be responsible for an order sent to an address that was entered incorrectly.
Privacy
We collect only what is needed to quote, produce and deliver your order, and to answer your questions. We do not sell or trade your information.
The full detail — what is collected, how it is stored, how long it is kept and how to have it removed — is set out in our privacy policy.
Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are returned within 24 hours on any working day. Structural work that needs a new dieline may take up to 48 hours, and we tell you when that is the case rather than leaving you waiting.
A quote is valid for 30 days and is based on the specification supplied. Changing the size, quantity, stock, printing or finishing changes the price, and we requote rather than absorbing the difference.
There are no die charges, no plate charges and no setup fee on standard styles. Full CMYK plus spot colours is included — extra colours do not cost extra. The quoted figure is the figure you pay.
- Minimum order: 50 boxes on most styles. Rigid and speciality builds may carry a higher minimum, stated on your quote.
- Unit price falls at every quantity break from 50 upward.
- All prices are in United States dollars unless stated otherwise on the quote.
Order Approval & Proofing
Every order is proofed before it is made. You receive a digital proof, a printed dieline and a free 3D mockup, and production begins only once you have approved them.
Checking the proof is your responsibility: spelling, layout, colour references, barcodes, regulatory text and dimensions. An error carried through from an approved proof is not a manufacturing defect, and a reprint in that case is chargeable.
If we do not hear from you within 48 hours of sending a proof, and you have asked us to keep to a deadline, we may proceed on the proof as issued. We will always say so in writing first.
Artwork & Design
Structural design, dielines and print-ready artwork are included at no charge, with unlimited revisions. If you have no artwork at all, our designers build it and send a 3D mockup for approval, and it adds nothing to the price.
Where you supply artwork, it must meet the specification below. If a file is close but not quite right we fix it rather than sending it back; if it cannot be used we tell you what is needed.
You confirm that you hold the rights to any artwork, logo, image or text you supply, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
- AI, PDF, EPS or TIFF
- CMYK colour mode, 300 DPI at 1:1 scale
- 0.125 inch (3 mm) bleed on every edge
- All fonts outlined or supplied with the file
Colour Proofing & Matching
We print full CMYK process and match PMS spot colours on press. Supply a Pantone reference for a brand shade and we hit it.
We cannot guarantee an exact match to what you see on screen. Monitors are backlit and are calibrated differently from one another; printed ink on board is not. Colour also reads differently across stocks — the same file prints warmer on kraft than on bleached cardboard.
Variation in colour and density between a proof and the final run, or between separate print runs, is a characteristic of the process and is not treated as a defect. Where colour accuracy is critical, ask for a printed proof before the full run.
Production & Turnaround
Standard production is 10–12 business days from artwork approval — not from order placement. Rush production runs 4–6 business days on selected styles.
Lead times exclude weekends and public holidays. Where a deadline is critical, tell us before you order and we confirm in writing whether it is achievable.
Printing, die-cutting, finishing and assembly all happen in-house, which is why turnaround and quality stay under our control rather than a third party’s.
Order Shipping & Delivery
Shipping is free across the continental United States and Canada, including expedited freight on rush orders. Tracking is emailed as soon as your order leaves us.
We can split a delivery across multiple addresses — give us the split when you order and we palletise accordingly.
Outside the continental US and Canada we still quote, but freight is priced separately and any customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Rates vary by country; your local customs office is the authority on them.
- Delivery dates are estimates. We are not liable for a delay caused by a carrier, customs, weather or any other event outside our control.
- Report a shipment that is late, short, damaged or lost within 7 days of the expected delivery date so we can raise it with the carrier while the claim window is open.
Returns & Refunds
Every box we make is manufactured to your own specification and cannot be resold, so custom packaging is not returnable once production has begun. Check your proof carefully — that is the point at which the specification is fixed.
That does not limit what we do when something is wrong. If the delivered boxes do not match the specification you approved, or they arrive with a manufacturing defect, we reprint them or refund you in full. The choice is yours.
- Tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photographs of the problem. That is usually enough to settle it without returning anything.
- An approved refund is returned to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval.
- Where a return is agreed, we arrange and pay for collection on a defective order. On any other return, carriage is at your cost.
- An error carried through from an approved proof, and colour variation within the tolerances above, are not grounds for a refund.
Defective Products & Liability
A product is defective when a structural or printing fault results from our manufacturing — mis-registration, incorrect construction, cutting or finishing. We take responsibility for that and either reprint or refund.
The following are characteristics of the materials and processes rather than defects:
- Cracking along a crease in a printed area, where the board has been expanded past what the coating allows — a normal characteristic of paperboard.
- Minor cracking along creases in non-laminated cardstock.
- Cracking, bending or scratching caused by handling or transit after delivery.
- Variation of up to 2.5% in dimensions, material, print layout or finishing against the stated specification.
- Variation in colour and density between a proof and the final printed product.
Our liability on any order is limited to the value of the affected goods. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including lost sales, lost profit, a missed launch date or the cost of alternative packaging — however it arises.
Notify us of a suspected defect within 7 days of delivery. We may ask for photographs or video, which is normally all that is needed to resolve it.
Over-runs & Under-runs
Web-fed and sheet-fed printing does not stop on an exact count, so the delivered quantity can differ slightly from the quantity ordered. A variance of up to 10% either way is trade standard and is accepted on both sides.
You are invoiced for the quantity delivered, not the quantity ordered. Where you need a guaranteed minimum quantity, say so before production and we run over deliberately.
Customer Content
You are responsible for everything you send us. By submitting artwork, text, logos or images you confirm you have the right to use them and to have them reproduced.
You grant us the licence needed to produce your order. Separately, we may photograph finished work for our portfolio, our website and our social accounts — tell us in writing at any time and we will not, and we will remove anything already published.
We do not send unsolicited samples of your printed work to other customers.
Payments
All prices are in United States dollars unless the quote states otherwise. Nothing is charged until you have approved the 3D mockup.
We accept credit card, PayPal, wire transfer and cheque. Clearing times vary by method; production begins and goods ship once payment has cleared.
Orders are payable in full before production unless credit terms have been agreed in writing. Overdue balances may carry interest at the rate stated on the invoice.
Contact & Address Changes
Make sure the contact and delivery details on your order are right when you place it. If something needs changing, tell us within 24 hours.
A change made after production or dispatch has begun may delay the order, and we cannot be responsible for a delivery sent to an address that was given to us incorrectly.
Use of the Website
Use this website lawfully and in a way that does not damage, disable or overload it, or interfere with anyone else using it.
Do not upload or transmit anything unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or infringing on somebody else’s rights. We may withdraw access where these terms are breached.
Trademarks & Copyright
Everything on this website — the logo, the wording, the photography, the designs and the structure — is owned by ECO Packaging Masters or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any of it without written permission. Your own artwork and your own brand remain entirely yours.
Third-Party Links
This site links to other websites for convenience — carriers, certification bodies, resources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Follow them at your own discretion.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify ECO Packaging Masters, its staff and its suppliers against any claim, loss or cost arising from the content you supply to us, from your use of this website, or from a breach of these terms.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
We do not warrant that this website will be uninterrupted or free of error, or that the information on it is complete at every moment. Specifications, stocks and finishing options change.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability on any order is limited to the amount paid for the goods concerned.
General
These terms are the whole agreement between you and ECO Packaging Masters in relation to this website and your order, and replace anything said beforehand.
If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms at any time, and the version published here when you approve your proof is the one that governs your order.
